Biography
LARRY YANG was a Clinical Social Work Supervisor at UCSF and San Francisco General Hospital, where he trained psychotherapists, and was Program Coordinator for Diversity and Multicultural Services. He is a consultant and trainer's giving workshops, presentations and trainings in diversity and multicultural issues. Larry is a co-editor of Making the Invisible Visible: Healing Racism in Our Buddhist Communities. He is part of the Community Dharma Leaders and Dedicated Practitioners Programs at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and is on their Diversity Council. He leads daylong retreats for People of Color and on issues concerning Diversity and Recovery from Addiction. He co-leads a sitting group for the Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender community in San Francisco.
